Warframe was launched in 2013 and has shown no signs of slowing down.
Digital Extremes recently wrapped up TennoCon 2021, revealing plans for The New War, crossplayas well as a mobile version of Warframe. Statistics are finally out for the show — and it`s clear that Warframe is more popular than ever, breaking a number of records in the community and for franchises for simultaneous viewers.
The fans were clearly excited to find out more about the forthcoming expansion, The New War, and they flocked out in a flurry during the main event. TennoCon 2021 was watched by over 540,000 concurrent viewers at its peak. It was also the most watched Warframe stream. Digital Extremes pointed out that Warframe was the only Twitch Video Game Channel to be among the top five concurrent viewer streams for 2021. This is pretty impressive for a game from 2013.

During the day of TennoCon, Warframe claimed the first spot on Twitch chartsand even made it to the top ten in the Global Twitter Trending category. A quick look on SteamCharts will reveal that a brand new concurrent count of players was also recorded on the day of TennoConwhich saw more than 181,000 gamers online at the same time.
“This is the biggest thing we`ve ever done, by quite a bit… and I`m super excited to do live demonstrations,” Steve Sinclair, Creative Director at Digital Extremes, said during the broadcast.
It seems that fans were only excited. It`ll be interesting to learn how the team responds to the growing interest in Warframe as it progresses to The New War.
